WHY CUT & PASTE?

"Since I was a child I have always been obsessed with magazines, colours, bright paper and saturated tones. My grandmothers used to buy magazines and my eyes always went into them. During my teens, I used to buy music magazines and even steal them from the dentist's waiting room. By then, my room was wrapped to the ceiling with paper and postcards. Walls were a huge collage, in those walls of rebellion I learned the technique and I realised the enjoyment of sticking paper."
"Collage for me is democratic and pop, is the kind of art that frees me. I use fashion, art, decor & gardening magazines, shiny stuff, textured, special papers and sometimes fabrics. "
